How Championship Points is calculated
Each team entry earns points from a fixed placement scale (1st = 100, 2nd = 75, 3rd = 60, and so on down to 5 points for taking part). That figure is multiplied by a field-size factor between 0.50 and 1.30, so beating 27 other teams is worth more than beating 2, and by the sport weight. An organisation total is the sum across all of its entries, plus or minus any jury adjustments.
